Due to the increasingly strict worldwide regulations on emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), every Body Shop must prepare so that their processes meet or exceed these conditions.

At The X Shop we stay at the forefront of the latest technologies and ecological options that will allow us to become a “green” workshop in the near future. With our first water-based paint booth, we are using one of the most environmentally friendly options on the market right now. Water-based paint can eliminate up to 90% of solvent emissions (VOC); improving air quality, protecting the environment and the health of future generations.

In addition to the ecological benefits, this paint gives us greater productivity as it covers more area using less product, provides a better quality of color matching and a shorter drying time.

We use PPG’s ENVIROBASE product line which is designed to reduce VOCs and exceeds all current government restrictions on VOCs in the United States and Canada.
